Second-year student Nurlan Abdrakhmanov and third-year student Altynai Asylbekova of the “Accounting and Auditing” educational program, together with their supervisor Klara Baidairova, достойно represented JSC “Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov” at the International Accounting Olympiad “Transformation of Accounting: Trends, Challenges, and Prospects,” held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

During the Olympiad, participants demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. According to the results of the competition, the team achieved 1st place in the testing stage, demonstrating excellent knowledge of modern accounting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In addition, based on the overall results of all competition stages, the students won 2nd place in the overall team ranking, confirming their competitiveness at the international level. The team competed under the name “Debit on the Rise.”
