Career Center Activities

The Career Center is a structural unit of the university responsible for key issues, including:

  • all types of students’ professional internships and practical training;
  • organizing and conducting graduate employment events: Job Fairs, company (employer) presentations, seminars, master classes, and conferences;
  • conducting an annual monitoring of graduate employment;
  • establishing long-term partnerships with employers;
  • developing a database of employers (enterprises and institutions) and their vacancies, as well as creating an electronic database of job seekers;
  • providing informational and advisory support to students on relevant issues, and others.

The university has signed cooperation agreements and memorandums with 158 partner employers on professional practice and employment matters. Job Fair 2025

The university traditionally holds a “Job Fair” event for students. The main purpose of this event is to support graduates in finding employment.

The next Job Fair was held on April 25, 2025. The event welcomed more than 40 representatives from 32 organizations, including government agencies, large national and private companies, financial institutions, industrial enterprises, business structures, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies.

Welcome remarks were delivered by:

  • Gani Nuralievich Baiseyitov — General Director, LLP “Research & Development” Center, “Kazakhstan Engineering”;
  • Aida Muratovna Zhamangarinaa — Head of Department, Labor Mobility Center of the Akimat of Astana;
  • Tolegen Esenqulovich Safuani — Managing Director for HR, Legal Support and Risks, JSC “KEGOC”.

Graduate students had the opportunity to obtain essential employment information through interviews with HR managers from the participating organizations.


Alumni Association

The university has established an Alumni Association, which includes graduates from previous years working in various ministries, state law enforcement agencies, akimats, large companies, and financial institutions.

On October 3, 2025, the first meeting of the Alumni Association was held. Priority issues of the market economy were discussed, and significant proposals were developed to further strengthen the university’s position.

The Alumni Association pursues a noble goal: to build a spirit of corporate unity, mutual assistance, and cooperation; to support and enhance the image of the university; to promote its graduates; and to develop cultural traditions.

During the meeting:

  • Svetlana Valeryevna Kravchuk was elected Chairperson — Deputy Head for Legal Affairs, LLP “Komek Astana”;
  • the membership composition was approved;
  • the work plan was approved.

A schedule of guest lectures by Alumni Association members was also developed for students on a range of relevant topics, such as:

  • Key steps to a successful career;
  • Practical advice on starting and building a business;
  • Legal literacy;
  • Discipline as the key to success in public service;
  • Modern IT technologies and practical experience.

These guest lectures were delivered at different times during the academic year, enabling students to gain practical experience, knowledge, and additional competencies. Establishing the Alumni Association will contribute to continued productive work in the future.



Board of Trustees

For the first time, the University has established a Board of Trustees comprising representatives of government bodies, the business community, and public figures. The inaugural meeting of the Board of Trustees took place on 13 February 2026 and was introductory in nature. At this meeting, the Chair and membership of the Board were approved, and current issues related to the University’s educational activities were discussed. The Board of Trustees will continue its work in an active format.
