On February 7-8, 2026, the Republican Championship "Astana Tech Cup" – a large-scale national championship in robotics, drones, e-sports, and IT fields for students in grades 1-11(12), as well as college and university students – was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU).

The "KazUTB" team was composed of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students of the "Information Systems" educational program: Musakhmet Daniyal (group IS-231 co), Zhalmagambetov Damir (group IS-242/3 co), Kozhakhmet Adilet (group IS-252/2 co), Kairat Anuarbek (group IS-241/3), Abdumalik Sherkhan (group IS-241/3). The team participated in the "Fibonacci International Robot Olympiad" category. Our students worthily represented the university and achieved victory, winning 1st and 2nd places in the "FootBot Lego League.Univer" and "FootBot mBot League.Univer" categories.

The team's work was highly praised by experts for its creativity and innovative approach.

The project supervisor was Senior Lecturer of the "Information Technologies" Department, Master of Technical Sciences, Bekkozhyina Zhanargul Amangeldievna, who provided scientific and technical guidance and support to the students at all stages of preparation.

This success confirms the high level of training of our students and their readiness to contribute to the development of modern digital solutions. We congratulate the students and wish them further victories!
