Objectives of the Department of Postgraduate Education
The main objective of the Department is to ensure the effective organization of the educational process and research activities within master’s, doctoral, and other postgraduate programs, aimed at training highly qualified specialists who meet national and international standards.
The main tasks of the Department are:
- Ensuring opportunities for conducting scientific research;
- Coordinating the development and implementation of postgraduate educational programs in accordance with state standards and accreditation requirements;
- Providing academic and research support for master’s and doctoral students;
- Organizing and monitoring the educational process, research activities, and internships of postgraduate students;
- Monitoring the quality of postgraduate training and ensuring that educational programs meet current labor market and scientific demands;
- Supporting innovative approaches in the educational process and integrating modern learning technologies.
Functions of the Department
In accordance with its assigned tasks, the Department carries out activities related to the organization and management of postgraduate education processes at the University in the following areas:
- Coordination of the development of educational programs;
- Planning and organization of academic activities for master’s and doctoral (PhD) programs;
- Monitoring the compliance of curricula with established requirements;
- Supervision of the implementation of the academic schedule;
- Oversight of the organization of research activities and research internships for master’s and doctoral students within departments;
- Supervision of the organization of final attestation procedures for master’s programs;
- Preparation of proposals for improving the educational process and research activities of master’s and doctoral students, and submission of these proposals for discussion by the University Academic Council;
- Strengthening and expanding partnerships with organizations, enterprises, and partner universities;
- Monitoring the relevance of proposed master’s and doctoral dissertation topics and the appointment of scientific supervisors;
- Participation in the preparation of reporting documentation on the activities of master’s and doctoral programs and submission of statistical data to the University’s higher administrative bodies;
- Supporting the research activities and initiatives of postgraduate students;
- Ensuring cooperation with other educational and research institutions at the national and international levels;
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality of education and research within postgraduate programs.
