Academic Mobility
Academic mobility at KazUTB is treated as an element of internationalisation: students and teachers complete study or research at another university inside Kazakhstan or abroad for a semester or an academic year.
What the academic mobility programme provides
The official page emphasises that the programme is built on active contracts, agreements, and memoranda with universities in Kazakhstan and abroad.
Definition
Academic mobility is the transfer of students or teachers (researchers) to another educational institution within the country or abroad for a defined academic period for study or research.
Outcome for the student
After completing academic mobility, the student receives a transcript showing completed subjects and the volume of academic credits, which are mandatorily recognised by the home institution.
Personal and professional impact
The programme positively affects interpersonal communication skills, personal maturity, and intercultural competencies: students grow in a new environment and gain experience in another academic context.
Partner network in Kazakhstan and abroad
KazUTB implements academic mobility on the basis of active agreements with foreign universities and with Kazakh higher education institutions in the country’s main educational centres.
