Academic Council
The Academic Council of the K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business JSC is a consultative and advisory body for the collegial governance of the university.
Functions and Role
of the Academic Council
The Academic Council is one of the forms of collegial governance of the University. The council operates on the principles of transparency and collective discussion of matters within its competence. The Academic Council is established by order of the President of the University.
In its activities, the Academic Council is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of K. Kulazhanov KazUTB JSC, as well as the Model Rules for the operation of the Academic Council of a higher education institution (Order of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 22.11.2007, No. 574).
The Academic Council organizes its work on the basis of an approved plan developed for the corresponding academic year.
The Chairman of the Academic Council appoints a deputy — the Rector, who performs the duties of the Chairman during his absence. The remaining members of the Academic Council are elected at the general Assembly of the University by secret ballot.

Activities are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the university Charter and orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In its activities, the Academic Council is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of K. Kulazhanov KazUTB JSC, as well as regulatory acts in the field of higher and postgraduate education.
All decisions are made in strict accordance with current legislation and the internal regulatory documents of the university.
