Faculty of Technology
The Faculty of Technology trains competitive specialists in the field of the food and light industries, design, architecture and knowledge-intensive production in accordance with the modern requirements of technical education.
The Faculty of Technology was established in 2010 and is positioned as a research-oriented educational structure based on the mastery of new knowledge-intensive technologies in the priority areas of the country's economic development.
The faculty comprises four departments: "Light Industry Technology and Design", "Technology and Standardization", "Social and Humanitarian Disciplines", and "Physical Education".
The departments are headed by scholars with extensive experience in research and teaching, and a bachelor's graduate has the opportunity to continue their studies in a master's program.
To be the leading faculty of the technological field in the professional training of competitive specialists in the food and light industries, designers and architects who meet the modern requirements of technical education among the universities and faculties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The distinctive feature of the "Design" educational program is the growing demand for professional designers in the design of architectural objects, graphic design and industrial design.
The program is aimed at in-depth theoretical and practical training that allows students to combine fundamental knowledge with applied skills in the field of design.
The functions of professional activity include a command of modern means, methods and forms of artistic design for the creation of a harmonious spatial and object environment and a variety of artistic objects.
Graduates are prepared to carry out creative and artistic work in the design of fragments of the architectural environment, expositions, interiors, visual communications, advertising, and industrial and household items.
