Department Mission

The primary objective of the Military Department of K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business JSC is to prepare highly qualified reserve officers and reserve sergeants equipped with modern professional knowledge, practical skills, and strong ethical values required to contribute to the defense capability of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Department History

Currently, the Military Department of K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business JSC provides military training to more than 700 students from eight higher education institutions in Astana. Training is conducted in 12 military occupational specialties, including 9 reserve officer training programs and 3 reserve sergeant training programs.

The Military Department provides training for students of K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business, Esil University, Turan-Astana University, Nazarbayev University, Maqsut Narikbayev University, A. Kusainov Eurasian Humanities Institute, Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports, and the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Branch.

The educational process is delivered by a highly qualified academic staff consisting of reserve officers with extensive military service, practical expertise, and teaching experience. Faculty members hold higher professional and academic qualifications, enabling them to effectively combine modern educational technologies with extensive practical experience in training future military specialists.
