
KazUTB Opens Joint Educational Center with Chinese Partners
On August 14, 2026, the Kazakh University of Technology and Business (KazUTB) hosted an official visit by a delegation from Jiangsu Province, China. The visit included the opening ceremony of the Jiangsu China–Central Asia Industry-Education Collaborative High-Skilled Talent Development Center.
The joint educational center was established in cooperation with Nanjing University of Industry Technology (NJUIT) and Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group. The Center aims to promote practice-oriented education, academic mobility, and the development of highly qualified specialists in line with the current needs of the labor market.
As part of its activities, the Center will focus on developing joint educational programs, academic exchange opportunities, practical training, internships, and cooperation with Chinese enterprises. Particular attention will be given to the implementation of joint study programs, including the 2+2 format, providing students with opportunities to study in both Kazakhstan and China, undertake professional internships, and explore employment opportunities with partner companies.
During the meeting, representatives of KazUTB and the Chinese delegation discussed promising areas of cooperation, the expansion of student and faculty exchanges, the implementation of joint educational initiatives, and further development of cooperation between the university, government institutions, and industry partners.
The opening of the Center marks an important milestone in strengthening KazUTB’s international cooperation with educational and business partners in China and creating new opportunities for the professional development of students and faculty.
