On October 15, 2026, the presentation of the "Bagdar" volunteer program took place at the Museum of the First President, featuring the participation of the faculty and students of the Department of Tourism and Service at the Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov.
As part of the event, professors and students engaged actively in the practical program and familiarized themselves with the museum's activities across four areas: Personal Archive Service, Personal Library Service, Museum-Exhibition Service, and Excursion Service. Participants completed tasks closely simulating the museum's actual working processes.
Following the event, a pool of student volunteers was formed to continue participating in the "Bagdar" program throughout the academic year. The program aims to develop museum volunteering, provide students with practical experience, build professional competencies, and further involve them in the museum's exhibition, excursion, and cultural-educational projects.
The event became a significant continuation of cooperation between the Museum of the First President and KazUTB named after K. Kulazhanov, as well as an important step in developing practice-oriented training for students of the Department of Tourism and Service.
